Scissor fob

Here are 2 scissor fobs that I tatted for Mary M. The beaded one is made with size 12 thread and seed beads surrounding 9 x 6 mm beads. The small scissor fob has a button in the center. The little butterflies and the letter and butterfly charms are an extra little gift that I'm sending along.

I love the look of beads in tatting but tatting with beads is a bit challenging for me as it feels much slower than tatting without them.

Scissor Fob Exchange

I signed up for the October tatting exchange which was a scissor fob. This is something to attach to one's scissors to make them unique and personal and identify them as yours or attached to a chatelaine to hold and keep your scissors handy. Here is a photo of scissor fobs that I received from Mary M. They are beautiful!
