The threads for this bookmark are size 8 perle cotton. The pattern is Marrie Stoffer's. The size of this bookmark is 1.25" x 6".This was my first venture in using woven picots and I'm pleased with the result. Ordinarily I prefer to tat without a picot gauge as I can get my picots reasonably close in size and using a gauge slows me down. For this project, however, I did use a picot gauge and I found it very helpful as these were very long picots.
