Worldwide Quilting Day

I spent much of my day working on quilt projects but none got finished. I'm close though so there will be new pictures soon.  Here's what I worked on today:

Sorted through a basket of scraps, cutting them into sizes I will use and throwing away the teeny, tiny ones.  Emptied the basket.

Trimmed a queen size quilt so it's ready for binding.

Cut the binding.

Worked on a child size quilt, preparing the  backing and batting to go with the top. (This is to help a friend, who is getting 2 quilts ready for a raffle at the spring carnival for the school where she works.)

The blocks are pictures the kindergarten children colored. Really cute!
