Triangle Doily

I've finished the Triangle Doily!  This doily has lots of clunies. Some of my clunies were made without a loom and some if them with. This is the first time I've tried a loom and using it allowed me to make more uniform clunies. In addition to that, it's much less stress on my hands.  I used a loom I made from cardboard cut from a facial tissue box. Here's the link for the loom directions:

For this doily, I used #50 DMC thread (white) and Lizbeth size 40, color #149 ( variegated blue). The finished doily measures approx. 5.5" across.

Here's a photo of my completed doily. Instead of being worked round by round as most doilies, this one is made with 6 triangular pieces. Very interesting.
