The Online Tatting Class is studying and making motifs, following directions written by a group member, from photos in the 1936 Imported Designs of Tatting Book. The book did not have directions. This week's lesson was motif 77 from page 12.
I don't often attend the class but follow along with what the class is doing by checking the website or clicking the links I find in an email and I occasionally complete a project.
This photo shows my attempt at making this pattern which uses techniques such as onion rings and floating rings. This tatted model is done with Lizbeth size 40 thread, color 147. I plan to use this as an applique. I think I need some more for the red and white quilt I have in progress.
