As a crafter I'm primarily a quilter and a tatter. You'll occasionally find crochet, knitting and sewing (other than quilting). This blog will be a way to post and display projects both in progress and finished.
Any star block may be used but red, white and blue are the theme colors. To expand people's collection of patterns and encourage participation, I'm presenting a different 8" star block each month. The ladies who put the blocks together do a great job and often add plain blocks or strips, sashings and/or borders.

I've always liked that star variation. Are all the participating guild members making the same block in the same colorway?
