It's Elementary, My Dear

It's Elementary, My Dear

I collected the many fabrics and step by step directions during a shop-hop (visiting numerous quilt shops over a couple days) during 2005. Then health problems arose and took priority. This pattern by Debbie Caffrey was a unique challenge because one had to have 17 different fat quarters in addition to yardage.I chose a lot of different colors for my fat quarters. What fun it was to cut the pieces and then watch the pattern emerge as the parts were put together.

I recently completed this UFO (unfinished object) - late but finally done and I love it!
