I just completed the qulting and binding of this quilt last night. This is a baby quilt (36" x 45"). I tried something new (to me anyway) for the border. I used my machine to embroider the info on my binding prior to applying the binding to the quilt. The label info shows along one side of the quilt on the back of the quilt but it is on the binding rather than a separate label. The nice thing about that is not having to hand stitch on a or 2 sides of the label.

I too am from Indiana. New Haven Indiana to be exact. I taught myself to quilt. I crochet. I remember my grandmother tatting. But I never learned.
Anyway, I am in the mini 9-patch exchange at block_swappers. I am looking forward to seeing what I get back. I mailed my minis today.
