As a crafter I'm primarily a quilter and a tatter. You'll occasionally find crochet, knitting and sewing (other than quilting). This blog will be a way to post and display projects both in progress and finished.
You're taking me back to 1990 when I made this ball cover and your other one on your prior post. You did a great job on them!
Those two ball ornaments were my 'audition' for being invited to join the tatting group a year after I learned to tat, and that was 22 years ago! I made them over red satin balls and still have them.
I was lucky that the book was in the craft stores back then. I've made many of the patterns in it. The designs are by Marion T Leyds, and I've never seen any information about her.
