As a crafter I'm primarily a quilter and a tatter. You'll occasionally find crochet, knitting and sewing (other than quilting). This blog will be a way to post and display projects both in progress and finished.

Tatting on Red Ball
This is a 3" glass ball. The tatting is not attached but hangs/drapes over the ball. This way the tatting can be used on another ball if this one gets broken or if a different color of ball is desired. The thread is an ecru size 30 vintage J & P Coats. I used cream and gold seed beads and also mother of pearl teardrop beads.

This is an excellent way to cover an ornament, especially the breakable ones! Lots of possibilities!
