Members of the Heartstrings Group were challenged to make a Sharon Quilt. My top was finished and previously posted here. Yesterday I completed the quilting and binding. I quilted it with serpentine stitching along the seams between blocks and 2 diagonal straight stitching across each block, making an X on the block. The serpentine stitching very nicely held the block seams which tend to be thicker on a string quilt. I used white fleece as backing.
